Introducing Jill

Jill has been in financial services for over 30 years in a variety of roles ranging from serving on the counter at the Dunfermline Building Society in Swinton and Bradford & Bingley in Worcester to managing Bradford & Bingley in Wokingham, travelling the UK in compliance – assessing other advisers, and advising clients directly for many years.

Money was tight growing up, so Jill had an interest in money and how it worked from an early age.

Jill loves being able to help clients pay less tax and grow their wealth. Jill says, giving clients confidence that they can afford to give during their lifetime and help their children with large mortgages and nursery fees is a great feeling.

Jill specialises in financial planning on divorce. It is vital to look at the finances early when you are splitting the family finances from one household into two. There will inevitably be less money and it is important to understand the extent of the money available and be realistic about the outcomes that are possible.

Tell me more

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy enthusiastically helping clients and showing them what is possible.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

Spending time with my husband, son and springer spaniel. Along with playing netball whenever I get the chance.

One thing that is guaranteed to make your day better…

The wagging tail of my springer spaniel for no other reason than he is pleased to see me.

What made you decide to do the work you’re currently doing?

I wanted to help clients to do better with their money by sharing my experience and knowledge. It is really rewarding to see how clients have progressed and to be a part of that journey.
