Introducing Charles
Charles has been working in finance for almost a decade. Having always had a passion for investment, he quickly recognised the role investment management can play in supporting an individual's or family's financial security and future.
Charles oversees Bowmore Asset Management's intermediary partner relationships and also has Director responsibilities, being actively involved in overseeing the strategic direction of the business. Charles' primary focus is business growth, which he helps to achieve through solid relationships with clients and a deep and broad understanding of financial markets and instruments.
Charles has been recognised by PAM (Private Asset Managers) on two consecutive occasions (2019 and 2020) as one of the Top 40 under 40.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
Working with a great team on a day-to-day basis. Meeting interesting people from different backgrounds and walks of life. Hearing their stories, understanding what motivates them and in turn actually having something we can offer to add a great deal of value and enhance their situations. Helping people to understand how an investment portfolio is a simple tool that helps them achieve the lifestyle they want to live. Many still underestimate the power of investment and I enjoy opening their eyes to the possibilities.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
Cycling, keeping fit, socialising with family and friends, discussing the power of compound growth.

What made you decide to do the work you’re currently doing?
I completed my first investment qualification while still in school. This gave me my first insight into the “investment world” and I’ve never looked back since.
What is one personal rule that you never break?
Never leave the house without using the bathroom first.

Top Gear (the old version with Clarkson, Hammond and May).
